Jason Eugene Van Tassel (B:1973-12-17) at Happy Valley, Labrador is the son of Brian & Rose Van Tassel. He started his education in Corner Brook, Nfld. and continued at Digby Elementary & Digby Regional High School, Digby, Nova Scotia. After graduating in 1991 he attended Dalhousie University, Halifax, N.S. and received a Bachelor of Arts degree and was placed on the Dean's List. He worked as a clerk during high school and university & later managed a store in Halifax, N.S. for a year.
He always had a great interest in seeing the world and started that quest at 17 years of age when he visited Turbenthal, Switzerland for six weeks as an exchange student. A year after university he spent 3 years in Tokyo, Japan teaching English. He has since travelled to many places in Europe, Asia & North America.
Jason returned from Japan in 1999 & attended Information Technology Institute, Toronto, Ontario graduating with a diploma in Applied Information Technology. He worked for others until 2003 when he opened his own buisiness , Mouth Media, a web design & development company, in Toronto, Ont. http://www.mouthmedia.com
