Annette Marie King (nee Van Tassel) (B: 1975-12-05) is the daughter of Brian & Rose Van Tassel. She was born in Happy Valley, Labrador. She started her education in Corner Brook, Nfld. and continued at Digby Elementary School & graduated from Digby Regional High School, Digby, Nova Scotia. She enjoyed sports & was a competive swimmer, excellent basketball player & softball catcher. She worked part-time as a clerk during high school. She attended Dalhousie University and then took Office Information Technology at Nova ScotiaCommunity College in Windsor, N.S. & Kentville, N.S. graduating in 1995. She utilized her course as a payroll Clerk in Halifax, N.S. & is presently employed in that capacity with the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation in Windsor, N.S.She was married 1999-07-10 at Digby, N.S. and has two daughters, Karlee Anne King (B: 202-09-21) & Kaitlyn Rose King (B:2004-03-26) They reside in New Minas, N.S.
